Alexandra Cinematografica owns an extensive library of art-house films, the result of over fifty years of activity and collaborations with artists awarded at major international festivals.

Thanks to funding from the European Union – Next Generation EU, Alexandra Cinematografica Srl was able to launch and complete an important project aimed at restoring and enhancing its historic cinematic heritage. The initiative involved the restoration of several highly significant works, with the goal of preserving them over time and making them once again accessible to the public under technical and quality standards suitable for today’s audience.

These works, representative of an important period in film production, have undergone careful restoration that has involved both their visual and sound components, in full respect of their original characteristics.
The support of the Next Generation EU program thus proves to be a fundamental tool for the protection, preservation, and dissemination of Europe’s cultural heritage, helping to keep the historical memory of cinema alive and to pass it on to future generations.
