Founded in 1955 by Mr.Franz and Mr. Virgilio de Blasi, Alexandra Cinematografica rides the golden age of Italian cinema of the 50s and 60s.
Alexandra produced and co-produced more than 40 films with directors like Terence Young, Federico Fellini, Marco Ferreri, Vittorio Cottafavi, Marcel Camus, Claude Chabrol, and actors like Marcello Mastroianni, Alan Ladd, Lino Ventura, Virna Lisi, Alberto Sordi, Tony Curtis, Charles Bronson, Jack Palance, Carroll Baker, Elsa Martinelli, Michèle Morgan, Charles Aznavour e Robert Hossein. We love to remember: The Warrior and the Slave Girl, Legions of the Nile, The Giants of Thessaly, Le Tigre aime la chair fraîche, Father Jackleg, Love on the Riviera, Duel of Champions, Les Biches, Harem, The Wise Guys, Un été sauvage. From 2003 the company specialized on TV productions too (fiction, TV series, entertainment format, Call Games, Participation TV). From 2007 Alexandra produced a lot for the Automotive companies: most of 650 TV production were made for 67 different Automotive companies. In 2018, Alexandra coproduced with Latteplus Berlin and in collaboration with Rai Cinema, an animation TV movie, titled \"Butterflies in Berlin - Diary of a soul split in two\", selected in more than 60 Festival around the world and winner of many prizes like “Special Mention” at Tel Aviv Film Festival 2019
